Overview
We are seeking a talented UI/User Experience Developer to join our dynamic product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and enhancing user interfaces across web and mobile applications, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing cutting-edge technologies, including Angular, React, and AWS, within an Agile environment. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into compelling digital experiences that prioritize usability and accessibility.

Duties

• Develop and implement front-end components using frameworks such as Angular, React, and Bootstrap to create responsive web designs compatible with various devices, including mobile devices.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, including A/B testing and user acceptance testing, to gather insights that inform design improvements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed user flows using tools like InVision, Figma, Axure, and Balsamiq to visualize design concepts.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to gather requirements and translate them into functional UI solutions aligned with business goals.
• Apply design patterns, information architecture principles, and interaction design techniques to enhance overall user experience.
• Utilize data visualization tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, and Omniture to monitor user engagement and inform iterative design enhancements.
• Ensure web accessibility standards are met by implementing inclusive design practices in all projects.
• Maintain documentation of design specifications and participate in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process for continuous improvement.
• Stay current with emerging trends in UX/UI design, digital design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, XD, Illustrator), and front-end development best practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in front-end development technologies including HTML5, CSS3 (and SCSS), JavaScript, React, Angular, Redux, React Express, Bootstrap, WordPress, Drupal, RESTful APIs, and SharePoint.
• Experience designing for e-commerce platforms with a strong understanding of UX principles for online shopping experiences.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira for project management.
• Expertise in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, Zeplin, InVision, Balsamiq.
• Knowledge of data analysis skills using SQL or related tools to interpret user data effectively.
• Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Experience with digital design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects; motion graphics; Adobe Dreamweaver; Adobe Target; Omniture; Google Analytics; Google Analytics 360; Adobe Creative Suite; Telerik; Unreel Engine; Unity; Visio; SharePoint; QuarkXPress; Less/SASS/SCSS.
• Ability to perform user research techniques such as surveys (Qualtrics), analysis skills for interpreting data insights to improve UX/UI strategies.
• Knowledge of APIs integration for seamless data flow between systems and applications.
