We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining websites that align with our brand’s vision and marketing strategies. This role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure that our online presence effectively communicates our message and engages our audience.

Duties

Design and develop visually engaging websites using HTML, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create content strategies that enhance user experience and drive engagement.
Implement graphic design elements that align with brand guidelines while ensuring consistency across all platforms.
Manage social media content and integrate it effectively into website design.
Conduct regular updates and maintenance of existing websites to improve functionality and aesthetics.
Monitor website performance using Google analytics tools, making necessary adjustments based on data-driven insights.
Stay updated on industry trends in web design, marketing, and technology to ensure our websites remain competitive.
Develop and implement content plans aligned with organizational goals and audience needs.
Structure content to support intuitive navigation and user journeys.
Write, edit, and proofread engaging website content such as landing pages, blog posts, and product descriptions.
Incorporate multimedia elements like images, videos, and infographics.
Research and integrate relevant keywords to improve search engine rankings.
Optimize metadata, headings, and content formatting for better discoverability.
Work closely with web designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive content presentation.
Align content with branding guidelines and organizational tone of voice.
Focus on readability, accessibility, and user-friendliness in content design.
Use wireframes and prototypes to visualize content layout in collaboration with UX/UI teams.
Manage and update website content using Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal.
Ensure consistent formatting and adherence to content guidelines.
Monitor website analytics to measure content performance.
Use insights to improve content strategy and make data-driven decisions.
Ensure content meets web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Adhere to legal and copyright regulations.
Requirements

Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in HTML, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Knowledge of content marketing principles and content strategy development.
Familiarity with social media management tools and best practices.
Strong graphic design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS).
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools.
Familiarity with UX principles and web accessibility standards.
Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Visual communication or a related field.
Masters in Advanced Computer Science is preferred

Pay: £29,500.00-£33,800.00 per year
